27 Years Before Greta Thunberg, Another Child Was Used to Address the UN, Warned of Mass Extinctions: “I Am Afraid to Breathe the Air” or Go Out in the Sun

Nearly 30 years before angry 16-year-old girl Greta Thunberg “shamed” world leaders in a tearful tirade at The UN, a 12-year-old girl “silenced the world for five minutes”.

In 1992, Severn Cullis-Suzuki – then 12-year-old daughter of Canadian environmentalist David Suzuki, addressed the plenary session of the UN Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

In it, she described being “afraid to breathe the air” or go out in the sun, warned of mass extinctions of plants and animals and urged rich nations to stop spending so much money on war and “let go of some of our wealth”.

Sound familiar? It Should:

I just dug up this clip from 1992…

Severn Cullis-Suzuki’s speech to the UN in 1992 on climate change sounds an awful lot like Greta Thunberg’s in 2019.

I cut the two together to show just how similar the language is: pic.twitter.com/18ptTzX4M4

Here’s Cullis-Suzuki’s speech, with my commentary:

“We are a group of 12 and 13-year-olds trying to make a difference” [using children for propaganda since 1992].

“We’ve raised all the money to come here ourselves” [which basically means that you’ve got them from adults], “to come 5000 miles to tell you adults you must change your ways.”

[That’s exactly what you didn’t do as an adult, since you own a car and fly periodically. Also, you were so worried with the impact humans have on the planet, that you decided to have children (plural)].

“Coming up here today I have no hidden agenda” [why would you even feel the need to say that?].

“I am fighting for my future. Losing my future” [except you didn’t lose your future at all] “is not like losing an election or a few points on the stock market. I am here to speak for all generations to come.”

“I am here to speak on behalf of the starving children around the world whose cries go unheard” [those children are starving because the “elite” families that control the world’s resources profit from pillaging the planet, as well as the cheap labor in the developing countries].

“I am here to speak for the countless animals dying across this planet because they have nowhere left to go.”

Severn Cullis-Suzuki cares so much about animals that she eats them. Source: Facebook.

Animal agriculture produces more greenhouse gas emissions than all the cars, planes, and other forms of transportation combined. A pound of beef requires 13 percent more fossil fuel and 15 times more water to produce than a pound of soy. — Read more

“I am afraid to go out in the sun now because of the hole in our ozone” [military operations, not everyday people, are to blame for the holes in the ozone layer, specifically the testing of HAARP installations under Operation Cloverleaf].

“I am afraid to breathe the air because I don’t know what chemicals are in it” [again, you can blame military operations for that too, specifically chemtrails, which are partially a result of your speech].

“I used to go fishing in Vancouver, my home, with my dad, until just a few years ago we found the fish full of cancers” [if this was a true story, and not something used for effect, than those responsible for making the fish mortally ill would be “Big Pharma” conglomerates, which have higher emissions than the automotive industry].

“And now we hear of animals and plants going extinct. Every day, vanishing forever” [that’s been the case since the beginning of our planet, and millions of years before humans existed on Earth].

She looks happy and healthy to me. And she’s clearly not scared of going out in the sun. Has she made any amendments to her alarmist claims, now that she is an adult?

“In my life, I have dreamt of seeing the great herds of wild animals, jungles and rainforests full of birds and butterflies. But now I wonder if they will even exist for my children to see” [yup, they still do and, again, big corporations are the ones who profit from pillaging the world, not the average Joe].

“Did you have to worry of these things when you were my age?” [You didn’t have to worry either, but you were used by adults for an agenda that is worth trillions of USD per year].

Quick recap:

Severn Cullis-Suzuki told others what to do ever since she was 12, but as an adult, she doesn’t seem to be following what she’s preaching. Severn has two children, she is a meat eater, owns a car, and flies periodically. What do you call that?
