Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, courtesy their Gates Foundation, donate billions to fund vaccines that may harm humans worldwide.
And, with a million viruses about which we still know little, the Gates Foundation will, with the help of others, continue pouring resources into new vaccine development – vaccines that will reduce global population.
This may seem inconceivable, but if you look more closely, evidence supports this.
Viruses have mutated into human-killers for as long as humans have walked the earth, The Week reports.
While medical science plays catch-up, devising vaccines to combat the viruses “is always too late,” says Jonna Mazet, a scientist at the University of California – Davis. As Mazet notes, science needs “to think about something different.”
Mazet proposes a global catalogue of viruses, an effort known as the Global Virome Project. Many other leading scientists and organizations support the effort.
Gates, however, has said he wants to lower the world’s population; the current model of only responding after a virus becomes deadly helps make this possible.
Toward that aim, the World Health Organization recently launched the R&D Blueprint, designed to improve treatment development and countermeasures for the most critical risk diseases.
While the R&D Blueprint (and similar projects such as the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and PREDICT) ostensibly look for answers needed for any upcoming epidemic, critics note that the aim may not be to save lives.
“The world today has 6.8 billion people,” Gates began. “If we do a really great job on new vaccines… we could lower that by perhaps 10 to 15 percent,” Gates continued.
Population reduction through vaccine-generated pandemics?
Vaccines can be used to reduce fertility, lowering birth rates. In Europe death rates already exceed birth rates.
Vaccines could be used to create a pandemic flu strain, which could kill off hundreds of millions of people.
Gates has made it clear that reducing global population is his goal. Vaccines just might be how he is able to do so.
