Parents have been concerned for quite some time about the various additives and preservatives found in vaccines — such as aluminum, mercury, formaldehyde, MSG, benzethonium chloride and derivatives of human tissue.
With autism, developmental delays, food allergies, and neurological and behavioral disorders all reaching staggering levels, parents have an absolute right to question the safety of anything their child is exposed to — including vaccines.
So it may be disconcerting to discover that a new toxic substance has been detected in vaccines: glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup.
This is certainly one chemical you want to avoid ingesting, let alone injecting into a child, teenager or adult. Here’s why.
Monsanto developed glyphosate as a potent herbicide in 1974 and marketed it under the name Roundupge. But the herbicide wasn’t widely used until the late 1990s, when genetically engineered seeds were introduced which could withstand high levels of the toxic chemical.
Monsanto also encouraged farmers to use it as a desiccant to dry out their non-GMO crops — like wheat, barley, oats, canola, flax, peas, lentils, soybeans, dry beans and sugar cane — for more expedient harvesting.
But the biotech giant didn’t stop there. Monsanto created a slick marketing campaign, falsely claiming the herbicide was “environmentally friendly” and “biodegradable” to convince consumers and municipal park districts to use it freely on playgrounds, roadsides, schoolyards and home landscaping.
While Monsanto isn’t the only company manufacturing glyphosate-based herbicides (GBHs), it has been the most aggressive in its marketing approach.
Thanks to Monsanto’s efforts, the use of GBHs has increased 100-fold since its introduction in the 1970s — and its use will only continue to climb due to the increased volume of the substance needed for glyphosate-resistant superweeds and the intensifying push for pre-harvest, desiccant use patterns.
This is worrying, particularly since glyphosate is associated with a number of serious health disorders — like cancer, ADHD, Alzheimer’s, birth defects, celiac disease and gluten intolerance, chronic kidney disease, colitis, diabetes, hypothyroidism, multiple sclerosis, Lou Gehrig’s disease, obesity, Parkinson’s and non-hodgkin lymphoma.
(You can read more about the studies linking glyphosate with these diseases here.)
Moreover, Dr. Stephanie Seneff, a senior research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), thinks the skyrocketing rate of autism is directly tied to glyphosate exposure — for two reasons.
First, the herbicide disrupts sulfur metabolism and second, it promotes gut dysbiosis — a syndrome that involves an imbalance of gut bacteria, inflammation, leaky gut, food intolerances and allergies.

Dr. Seneff also believes our contact with glyphosate is not just limited to environmental exposure and the food we eat, but that it can also be introduced through vaccines.
Glyphosate Contaminated Vaccines
Grassroots coalition Moms Across America just received preliminary screening results that show most vaccines contain glyphosate. Microbe Inotech Laboratories Inc. of St. Louis, Missouri carried out the testing, and found the following:
- MMR II (Merck) vaccine had 2.671 parts per billion (ppb) of glyphosate
- DTap Adacel (Sanofi Pasteur) vaccine had 0.123 ppb of glyphosate
- Influenza Fluvirin (Novaris) 0.331 ppb of glyphosate
- HepB Energix-B (Glaxo Smith Kline) 0.325 ppb of glyphosate
- Pneumonoccal Vax Polyvalent Pneumovax 23 (Merck) had 0.107 ppb of glyphosate
Glyphosate levels in the MMR II vaccine were up to 25 times higher than other vaccines. Subsequent independent tests confirmed the findings. The ELISA method was used.
According to Dr. Seneff:
“Glyphosate could easily be present in vaccines due to the fact that certain vaccine viruses including measles in MMR and flu are grown on gelatin derived from the ligaments of pigs fed heavy doses of glyphosate in their GMO feed.
“Gelatin comes from collagen which has lots of glycine. Livestock feed is allowed to have up to 400 PPM [parts per million] of glyphosate residues by the EPA, thousands of times higher than has been shown to cause harm in numerous studies.” [source]
Dr. Toni Bark, co-producer of the documentary Bought and medical director of the Center for Disease Prevention and Reversal, has this to say about the lab results:
“I am deeply concerned about injecting glyphosate, a known pesticide, directly into children. Neither Roundup nor glyphosate has been tested for safety as an injectable. Injection is a very different route of entry than oral route.
“Injected toxins, even in minute doses can have profound effects on the organs and the different systems of the body.
“In addition, injecting a chemical along with an adjuvant or live virus, can induce severe allergic reactions to that substance as vaccines induce the immune system to create antibodies to whatever is included in the vaccine.
“Since glyphosate is heavily used in corn, soy, wheat, cotton and other commodities, we can expect to see more severe food allergies in the vaccine recipients. In addition, chemicals in ultra low doses, can have powerful effects on physiology behaving almost as hormones, stimulating or suppressing physiological receptors.” [source]
Keeping in mind that glyphosate is always accompanied by other chemicals, its detection in vaccines indicates there’s a good chance additional toxins are also present — which makes the contamination all the more harmful, especially since the Roundup formula has been found to be 1,000 times more toxic than glyphosate alone.
“This calls for independent scientists, without financial ties to Monsanto, to investigate these findings, and if verified, immediate regulatory and legislative action,” said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., co-founder of The Mercury Project.
“Lawyers litigating against Monsanto should be looking into the company’s awareness of this contamination and its effect on children. The public needs to be ready for Monsanto and vaccine manufacturer backlash by their PR machines on this potentially grave information.” [source]
