Conditioning Your Mind To Heal Your Body
Being aware that your level of consciousness holds the key to inner peace and overall good health will definitely improve the quality of you...
For many years human beings have battled with the idea that they possess supernatural powers. If you have ever come across literature that suggests that you can read the mind of the person you are intimate with or be in one place while your body is in another, then you’ll be pleased to know that it is not a myth.
The mind is a powerful tool which we have been underutilizing for a long time. Did you know that your body is self-healing?
Well, you still need to go to the doctor the next time you feel sick, but the power to prevent disease and repair sick cells lies entirely in your hands.
No, it is actually in your mind. Before a disease is able to put you down, the mind has control over treating it and getting rid of the cause early enough to save you the pain and cost. The power of the mind however is harnessed through positive interaction of thoughts and ideas with the brain. Here is how you can foster that.
Your mind has the power to heal you
The placebo effect is what is known in medical circles as the will to live. This can be established by treating patients with chronic illness with nothing other than sugar tablets and saline water injections.
The patients whose will to live is higher will get healed, meaning that even if the other set of patients who become worse are treated with authentic procedures, they will still not make it.
The only thing you need to kill yourself in the face of illness is to believe that what you have cannot be cured.
Surround yourself with a good support system
You need to encourage your mind to continue to think positively even if the odds appear to be against what you believe. This encouragement will come from the people around you who either take care of you in the current condition, or provide the healthcare services.
Listen to your body
You are the master of your body and, even if doctors have been in school for years trying to study human anatomy, that is the much they can master. Every pain, discomfort, tightness, feeling of nausea, twitching muscles or dizziness has an underlying cause which is known by your body.
By following your gut feeling, your mind will be able to determine why the pain is there and how to get rid of it. Give your brain time to process what is happening in your body and, in most cases, the answer to what ails you will be found within yourself.
