Due to our typical diet structures which consist of processed foods including salt, sugar, caffeine and alcohol, the majority of our bodies are likely too acidic.
Signs of an overly acidic environment can be fatigue, headache, stomach ache, and a weakened immune system. The environment in our bodies becomes either too acidic or too alkaline our otherwise healthy cells can become toxic, waste away and die.

Alkaline water is more easily absorbed by your body system keeping you more hydrated, which also leads to an over all improvement in well being and clarity. How to make alkaline water
The following is a simple way to achieve alkalizing effects on your body through the addition of lemon to your water. You may be wondering how an acidic lemon can alkalize your body... The distinction is not the food in its natural state, rather the effects the food has on your body.
Because lemons posses high alkaline mineral content and low sugar content, lemons actually have an alkalizing effect on the body.
You will need:
- Glass pitcher that can hold at least 64
- fluid ounces
- One organic lemon
- 64 oz water (filtered is best)
- Pour 64 oz of your filtered water into your glass water pitcher. Glass is preferred as this way none of the chemical properties found in plastic leech into your water.
- Slice your lemon into 8 pieces.
- Place your lemon pieces into your water, DO NOT SQUEEZE.
- Cover and let sit at room temperature for at least 8 to 12 hours.
- Enjoy at least 8 to 16 oz of room temperature water EVERY MORNING on an empty stomach to alkalize the environment within your system.
